DR. YVONNE SURYA D.D.S.
 
Well, Dr. Yvonne Surya is one energetic busy mom! She has three boys: Steven, Mark and Andrew. We believe she has mastered the ability to combine a hectic family life with leading a successful, progressive, caring dental practice. When she is not here at the practice, you may find her at your local hockey rink, baseball diamond, football field, church or school. Dr. Surya is not just our employer, she is our friend!

DR. ANNE CHOW D.D.S.
 
Dr. Chow brings to our practice many years of experience as a family dentist in both Hamilton and Smithville. Her clinical experience and kind demeanour are a wonderful asset for all of us. Dr. Chow works Tuesdays, alternating Thursdays and Fridays, and some Saturdays.

DR. MARY ANNE NEW D.D.S.
 
Dr. New recieved her dental degree at the Univerity of Toronto and subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta. She is certified in the use of I.V. and oral sedation for adult patients. Dr. New brings not only her knowledge and clinical skills but also her genuine caring attitude in her treatment of all her patients.

DR. RON ZOHAR B.Med. Sc., D.M.D., Ph.D, F.R.C.D(C)
 
Dr. Zohar's extensive training in Israel and Toronto in the many areas Periodontology is a welcome addition to our office. He is currently very active in clinical training at the University of Toronto, and also serves as an Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Periodontics. This is in addition to his time spent in our office! Dr. Zohar is also active in the assessment of scholarly work for Professional Journals, Government Funding agencies and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program.

EVA — OFFICE MANAGER
 
Graduated dental assistant 1988. Has been with us since 1993. She's the one to talk to regarding financial arrangements and insurance issues. Energetic mother of Abbie, Josie and Savanha. Enjoys travelling with her family.

VLASTA — HYGIENE COORDINATOR
 
Has been with us since 1997. She will be the one reminding you when it's time for your next appointment. The computer lists people overdue for appointments, so you may receive more than one call. Vlasta enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, skiing and photography.

MINDY — REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
 
Graduated University of Michigan 1975. Has been with us since 1996. Busy mother of Adam and Justin. Is the creator of some of our wonderful quilt art. Enjoys family and travel. (Our own Martha Stewart).

TINA — REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
 
Graduated Dental Hygiene program at Fanshaw College in 1987. Has been with us since 1988. Busy mother of Jessica and Sarah, spending a lot of time at the Hockey rink. Enjoys spending time with family and tennis.

NORVINDA — REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Graduate of Duraham College. Has been with us since 1994. Norvinda started out as our hygiene Coordinator and assistant before going back to school. Proud mother of Devyn.

MONIKA — REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
 
Recent graduate of Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene. Has been with us since 2003. She is settling in to life with her new husband. Enjoys spending time with family and friends.

KRISTEN — CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
 
Graduated 1992. Has been with us since 1994. Devoted mother of Stewart. Enjoys going to the family cottage, boating and skiing.

KERRY — CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT - LEVEL 2
 
Graduated George Brown College in 1997. Has been with us since then. Kerry is involved in our Orthodontic Program. Enjoys family, sports and travel.

OLIVERA — CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
 
Graduated Career Canada College in 2000. Has been with us since then. Busy mother of Dalibor and Matea. Enjoys decorating, travelling and spending time with her family.

BEV — ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
 
Bev has been with us since 1999. She will be the one greeting you and letting the Doctor or Hygienist know that you have arrived. Her responsibilities include confirming your appointment, charts and correspondence. Busy family life with hubby Marvin, sons Mark and Rob and grandchildren.

PAULA — ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
 
Paula used to be with us at the mall and we are happy that she has joined us at our new location. Devoted mother of Nicole and Aaron. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, preferably up North.

SUE — ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
 
Graduated Career Canada College in 1988. Sue has been with us since February 2003. Looks after Dr. Chow and the administration of our orthodontic program. Enjoys walks with her dog and trips up north to the cottage.
